Petersfield museum is an independent museum which houses an array of local history including an historical costume gallery. We were asked by its curators to develop an application bid for the development of bespoke interactives through MLA Renaissance South East funding.
We designed a suite of interactives to help engage a younger audience within their period costumes gallery. We designed a life-sized game of Costume Consequences, an interactive that encourages children to mix and match clothing from different periods until they complete a correct period outfit. Working closely with an illustrator to help design the costumes we built a robust pivoting box unit with full colour graphics and Perspex guards.
